Welcome to Red Carpet Event. By purchasing our products, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a clear and fair relationship between our business and our valued customers across South Africa.

1. Products and Quality

We sell premium red carpet runners with a thick base and stitched sides. Please note that while the long sides are stitched, the front and end (widths) are unstitched to allow for flexibility and value. As our carpets are made from textile materials, slight variations in colour or texture may occur between different production batches.

2. Pricing and Payment

  • Quotations: All quotes are valid for 7 days from the date of issue.
  • Payment: We require full payment via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) before any order is dispatched for delivery or made available for collection.
  • VAT and Fees: Please refer to your formal invoice for the final total, including any applicable taxes or delivery charges.

3. Delivery and Collection

  • Courier Partners: We use third-party couriers including The Courier Guy, RAM, and PostNet. While we strive for prompt delivery, we are not liable for delays caused by the courier service.
  • Risk: The risk of loss or damage passes to the customer once the product has been collected by the courier or the customer from our storage point at Cradlestone Mall.
  • Address: It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a correct and secure delivery address.

4. Returns and Refunds

  • Defects: If a product has a manufacturing defect, you must notify us within 24 hours of receipt to arrange a replacement or refund.
  • Change of Mind: Because our carpets are cut and prepared to specific lengths, we do not offer refunds for “change of mind” once the order has been dispatched or used.
  • Used Items: For hygiene and quality reasons, we cannot accept returns on carpets that have been used at an event.

5. Proper Use and Safety

While our carpets have a thick base designed for stability, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the carpet is laid safely. We recommend using double-sided carpet tape on slippery surfaces to prevent movement. Red Carpet Event is not liable for any injuries or accidents that occur during the use of our products.
